What do you daydream about? Is it something far-fetched, or something that might actually happen?

Besides being built more like a Barbie than a bar-be-cue grill (which is in the far-fetched category), the things I dream about are being able to sew whenever I'd like, having boys who are happy to do lessons (or at least the younger boy quit complaining!), and a tidy house. Those last 3 are within the realm of possibility.
How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?

Five pairs. I wear four pairs regularly (and that includes the ugly pink clogs I wear to go outside and garden).
Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?
Yes. The trust is broken and I won't ever trust that person again with my or my children's safety. But, at the same time, that person has been forgiven.
What fictional character do you relate to most and why?
Anne of Green Gables! Dreamy, lost in thought, reading all the time, following her heart even though that was not always the easy road, teaching school, even the red hair and smacking someone with her lunch pail...that was all me!
When I taught third grade at Smith Elementary School, we had a "Hat Day." I found a straw hat like the one Anne wears as a teacher (I couldn't find a picture of that) and made a long skirt and wore a frilly blouse...all the kids knew who I was! They all called me Anne of Green Gables! I loved that.
That second picture is right before she smacks Gilbert with her lunch pail. I did that to a ridiculous boy in 5th grade...at Ustick Elementary!
What was your first car?
A beautiful pea green boat. It was enormous and that awful sea-sick green color, the color of the sky during a tornado. It took me from Searcy to Boise and back to Shreveport. And died on a railroad track, but I managed to get it off before any trains came. Traded it in on a little Horizon car which lasted the next 6 years through my teaching years, and eventually John and I sold it for a dollar to a man who needed a car. He ended up blacking out one day and sailed it into a telephone pole (broke the pole) but he was not hurt badly enough to be admitted to the hospital.
Whose house (besides your own) were you in last and why?
Kathy's. She has an adorable girl, Kalyn. Kalyn is from China. Kathy and her DH used the same adoption agency we used--Hope for Children in Atlanta. Kathy and I became friends and our daughters are becoming friends, too.
The blog thingy didn't do right--it showed I canceled the first upload (it was incredibly slow) so now there are two of the same pic. Sorry. When was the last time you drove out of town?
Yesterday. And today. And every day we go anywhere. Greenhill is tiny! Florence is where we do 'most everything.
I do have the idea you mean further...so that would be last Wednesday when the kids and I went to Redstone for grocery shopping, 75 miles away.
What is your definition of cheating?
It's the same one I've had for the last 3 or 4 days....please change the question!
What do you do EVERY day to take care of the earth's environment? What could you do more of?
We plan out every car trip--John has to go to work every day, but the kids and I don't go to town whenever we want to...I plan out our trips. We live about 3/4 of a gallon of gas from town, so it is pretty necessary to plan these things out.
